    Tasteful and modern for plastic

I hesitated for a long time, because they are expensive for plastic, but there aren't a lot of stylish modern choices, and I am tired of keeping up with the maintenance and replacing of wooden planters.

I ended up buying 2 of these for our New England deck. I've owned them less than 2 months, so I can't speak to their durability yet, but the plastic is thick enough, so that I think (hope) they will withstand living outside.

They are on a deck, so they won't be touching the cold ground, and they are partially covered by an overhang. I plan to leave the dirt in them all winter, and I am testing out one perennial herb, but the rest are annual plantings.
