We bought three of these in white (also have the umbrella tables) and love how they look. they are heavy duty and seem durable. So far we've had them outside for the whole summer. We mostly use them as tables and not coolers. We have only used the cooler feature once and seem to keep everything cold for a few hours. If you are planning on an all day party, I'd suggest using a regular cooler that latches. Since it doesn't have a rubber edge around the top/table or something to help create a better seal, ice melts much quicker than in a regular cooler. Also, pointing out that the top is not flat so when it rains water pools on the top and ends up leaving water marks, though these can easily be cleaned.
