corten window box planter

I have hought two of these 36" long corten steel window box planters, with plans to buy several more, plus several of the large corten steel planters. These are stunning. We have a TON of terracotta, and the plastic "terracotta" window boxes are just awful. These look so great with our army if pots, they have similar warm tones, have a similar patina that older terracotta pots develop, and they dont bow like the plastic ones. These are actually so beautiful it makes me want to replace our collection of terracotta! Oxidizing them with the directions from Veradek was easy. My only qualm was that one box seemed to have some manufacturing oils on it, or something, that made developing the patina a lot harder. The first box took 16oz of peroxide mixed with the vinegar and salt, but the second box took 64oz of peroxide mixed to get close to the same result. Cant wait to order more!
