The planter looks really good at my front entrance and is sturdy. It has drain holes in both the insert and the main planter. The only thing I would recommend is that I took the planter out to put the plants in then when I went to put it back in I pinched my hand as there is nothing to hold onto. A couple of cut out semi circles (handles) on the edges of the insert would prevent this problem and wouldn't be noticeable. This is the second Veradek product I have bought in the last 2 months and I think both look really nice and are very good quality.
