I had been shopping for a deck box for about a year now, with Chinese junk and Amazon-specials with terrible reviews available a-plenty. When I found the Veradek deck box, I was excited because we own quite a few Veradek products in our household, and it looks great in pictures. Americans should note that if purchased directly from Veradek, that you'll be charged an international conversion fee, which ended up being $6.00 as of 11/28/25.

I was excited when the deck box arrived, because that's all that's been missing on our back porch. I quickly unboxed the pieces/parts, and watched the assembly video from Veradek's site. It looked easy enough for this part-time engineer. During unboxing, I noticed that two of the larger panels had white stress marks from where the center of the parts/panels had been bent in the center, which luckily was barely visible from the exterior. Also, one of the brass threaded inserts for the rubber feet was installed crooked, which cause the box to sit crooked on the concrete patio, but I was able to heat-up the plastic and "adjust" the insert to sit perpendicular to the ground.

All-in-all, a good looking storage box with PLENTY of space for BBQ tools, charcoal, seat pads, and hopefully the better-half's hammock. A couple small hiccups, and the international fee, but I'm still happy with the purchase.
